Kaitlyn D. Hamilton (they/her) is a writer, curator and artist. They are the cofounder and director of TUO TUO (est. 2020) an ecological art space and residency located in rural Finland. Their practice is multidisciplinary with an emphasis on writing and language, involving elements of publication, installation and performance. Plants, ecologies and esotericism are recurring themes in her writing and the participatory art forms she creates. Their work seeks to confront the unbearable realities induced by accelerationism with life-affirming terrestrial technologies. They see art as essential work and find reward in treating artists accordingly.
