Genietta Varsi is a Peruvian sculptor based between Perú and Finland. She materially investigates the systems that conform humans and territories, with a special interest in bodily fluids. The main media she works with includes sculpture, prosthetics, drawing, video, sound, public/private space actions and printed matter.
Her latest solo exhibitions are Porosibilidades: gotejar, esgotejar (2023) in Vila Mandaçaia Projetos, São Paulo, Brazil; Pumping Roots (2022), Galerie 35m2, Prague, Czech Republic; Conducción Neumática (2021), Ginsberg, Lima, Peru. She has presented her work in group exhibitions, film festivals and printed matter fairs in Europe and Latin America. She took part in the 13th Mercosur Biennial as part of the duo Esfincter.
